A large product portfolio for our customer means competence in one
hand. From the beginning, Z+F has developed complex control panels
for plants in the automotive and processing industry as well as for the
aerospace and shipping industry. This was the solid foundation for the
invention of insulated ferrules which are now produced and distributed
worldwide in all kinds of sizes and colours.

The development of machines for the processing of crimp contacts and
for cable assembly together with our tools completes our range in the
area of cable processing. This makes Z+F a reliable and competent
business partner for solderless connection technology.

A further product sector arose in the year 1994 when Z+F started the
development and production of laser measurement systems. Later one
of the first optical 3D laser scanners was developed as well. With this
innovative technology Z+F is now one of the leading companies in the
market.

Laser Scanners

In the early 1990s the first rail track and tunnel measurement system
was developed. This was shortly followed in 1996 by the first optical
3D laser measurement system for “as built“ conditions. Today we are
one of the leading enterprises in the field of non-contact laser
measurement technology. Due to years of research, development and
countless successful engineering projects, Z+F are the forerunners in
this field with a wealth of knowledge, experience and success. Z+F has
always encouraged innovative thinking and open-mindedness when it
comes to implementing future developments, for example the Z+F
IMAGER® 5010.

Switch Cabinets/Control Panels

If many components have to be connected, then the individual parts
must harmonize with each other. In that case the best solution is to
have the design and implementation in one hand. Thus Z+F is the best
choice.

Here in Wangen, since our establishment in 1963, we have been
constructing complex switch cabinets and control panels for plants
in the automotive and processing industry and have also been
successful in the area of customized applications.

Ferrules

Zoller + Fröhlich is the inventor of insulated ferrules which are used all
over the world for solderless connection in cable assembly and are still
produced in our headquarters in Wangen. The ferrules protect the single
end of the stranded wire so that reliability is guaranteed for a long time.
In addition to that they allow easy insertion into the terminals.
Z+F ferrules are available in various different colours and lengths with a
cross-section of 0.14 mm² to 150 mm².

Terminals

Z+F terminals conform to the RoHS regulation. For more information
about the materials they contain, see the Technical Data Sheet.

Machines

For the automated processing of Z+F ferrules and turned contacts,
Z+F provides a large range of machines for cutting, stripping and crimping.
In addition to the production of standard machines, Zoller + Fröhlich also
specializes in developing and manufacturing special machines to provide
customized stripping and crimping solutions. The company's long-standing
experience makes it a competent business partner for efficient cable
processing.

Tools

In order to create a homogeneous and tight connection between the
wire end and ferrule, the cable must first be stripped and then crimped
with the corresponding ferrule. This is achieved through our high-quality
precision tools. The result is an electrically and mechanically safe
connection. Therefore Zoller + Fröhlich offers a wide range of tools for
stripping and crimping.
