Application
Area
|
Within
a few minutes the Z+F measurement system can provide accurate
measurement data of crime scenes and accidents - outdoor and
indoor. These data enable a fast investigation support
for "freezing" the scanned crime scene and for
documenting it. These evaluations are judically
accepted.

Accident Measurement
|
The
laser measurement systems of Z+F enable an accurate
three-dimensional capture of the complete accident scene with
all the details like deformations of the vehicles or skidmarks.
Using this technology, the question of the possible causes and
sequence of the accidents can be analysed and answered more
easy.

Crime
Scene Measurement
|
The
complete securing of evidence at crime scenes and the
geometrical capture on the spot are essential for the following
procedure. The crime scenes have to be captured from various
locations of the IMAGER and connacting these scans, the viewer
gets an overview of the complete scene. The Imager can be used
so flexible, that it can work even in the smallest spaces (e.g.
under a chair) without any problems. On the spot at a crime
scene, 3D-plans, ground plans, horizontal and vertikal slices
or only views of the point clouds can be provided.

3D
Suspect Measurement
|
Visual
Sensor Fusion (VSF) software developed by the Dutch company
DelftTech BV can combine 3D point clouds with 2D images
(pictures of a surveillance camera). A virtual person can be
set into the point cloud and using the 2D picture, it can be
adopted to it. In this way, the user is capable to determine
the length of a person with the desired accuracy. One of the
benefits is the fact that a suspect must not stand erect and an
other one is the immense saving of time.
