No matter which application or condition the IMAGER 5006 offers you the perfect scanning opportunities for your project.

The integrated control panel with display enables unlimited operation of the scanner without any further hardware. Your main advantages: Easy handling and high productivity.

A wireless connection with an external PDA can be established via a bluetooth interface. With this interface the operator has the opportunity to control the scanner from a distance. The display of the PDA allows immediate checking of the scans, while scanning and afterwards.

If required by the operator, it is of course also possible to operate the IMAGER 5006 via the existing operating software, Z+F LaserControl, which is possible with a notebook or a regular PC via an ethernet connection.

The IMAGER 5006 is capable of “scan over IP“. While it is connected to the internet, the scanner can be operated from anywhere in the world.

FLEXIBLE POWER SUPPLY

The IMAGER 5006 offers three different possibilities of power supply. Every scanner is equipped with a built in interchangeable battery pack.

Furthermore the existing external battery packs (TRAPP 15-24) or the power supply station (KNL) can be used. Both devices are already in use for the IMAGER 5003. With the TRAPP 15-24, about six hours of scanning are possible. The different power supplies can be swapped while working with the scanner.

COMPACT AND LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN

With the convenient carrying handle, compact design and low weight (less than 14 kg for the scanner and the battery pack), the IMAGER 5006 is an absolutely mobile measuring instrument. A standard tripod is the only piece of equipment which is additionally necessary for ordinary scanning.

"STAND ALONE" CONCEPT - EASIEST HANDLING AND HIGH PRODUCTIVITY

The IMAGER 5006 is the first true “stand alone“ laser scanner, world-wide. The integrated hard disk and power supply and the innovative operating methods, enable a completely wireless operation.

With these features and its compact design the IMAGER 5006 guarantees a very cost-effective way of scanning. The high ambiguity interval of a maximum of 79 meters and the good quality of the point clouds improve the measurement and reduce post-processing in the office.

Z+F SOFTWARE PACKAGES

The well known operating and evaluation software Z+F LaserControl, the modelling software LFM (Light Form Modeller) and the 3D Reconstructor as a tool for meshing are totally compatible with the IMAGER 5006. The latest versions of the softwares of course also support the IMAGER 5003.
