Zoller+Fröhlich is one of the pioneers in the young but
rapidly expanding field of laser measurement technology.
In the early 1990s, the engineers from Southern
Germany developed a first laser system for railtrack
and tunnel surveying and in 1996 the ”visual 3-D laser
measurement system for object surveying” was intro-
duced.
Today Z+F is one of the leading companies in the world
in the field of non-tactile laser technology and can offer a
lot of experience in this area based on many successful
projects that have been carried out over the years.

Apart from its special hardware, Zoller+Fröhlich also
offers extensive software modules. These allow you to:
- comfortably operate our hardware generate
models interactively (industrial plants, architec-
ture, virtual reality)
- generate 2D ground plans and vertical sections
- create grid views and 3D CAD models
- simulate manufacturing processes and carry out
collision checks
- compare target data with actual data (direct com-
parison of the measured data with existing 3D
models)
- combine 3D models with Orthophotos (true-to-
scale colour photographs) for virtual reality appli-
cations
- record the current state and make damage
assessments (heritage buildings)
